NAMI Basics Education Program

NAMI Basics is designed for parents and caregivers of children and adolescents with mental health challenges. It teaches the fundamentals of caring for the parent, the family, and the child with mental health issues.

While no diagnosis is required to participate, we discuss ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other mood disorders. We do not discuss Autism Spectrum Disorders.

This FREE 6 week program is presented by NAMI Birmingham and NAMI Shelby &  sponsored by NAMI, www.nami.org/basics
